Program Events, Seminars, & Networking

The Los Angeles Internship Program events are one of the most popular features of our program. The events are planned to give you full exposure to your new city, while combining travel, with many of the most popular attractions in the city. Although your summer will be filled with gaining valuable work experience, it is very important that you gain the full experience of living in Los Angeles, and our events will do just that.
Tour of Hollywood
The Hollywood Sign, the Walk of Stars, the Chinese Grumman Theater and much more! Our first weekend in Los Angeles is all about some of LA’s must dos. Get your cameras ready to take in LA’s iconic places that make the city of angels what it is today. We’ve chartered our very own open top bus to take us through the history of this beautiful city as we stop at all the major attractions including the Kodak Theater (where they film American Idol), the Beverly Hotel, the best view of the Hollywood Sign, the stars of celebrities like Brittney Spears, Michael Jackson, Jamie Foxx, Mariah Carey and many more as well at the world famous Chinese Grumman Theater, home to some of Hollywood’s biggest movie premiers.
After an excitement filled morning we’ll relax and get to know each other over lunch before finishing up the tour and heading home with some of the best pictures of the summer!
LA Dodger's Game
Get ready to spend the day at Legendary Dodger Stadium, while enjoying one of America's favorite pastimes! You will be impressed by the beauty of Dodger Stadium as its breath-taking views of downtown Los Angeles to the south and mountainous backdrop make for an amazing atmosphere for baseball. To top off the experience, you will be seated in the Party Pavilion with an all-you-can-eat menu. What a great afternoon this will be in the California sun!
Beach Day in Santa Monica
What do you think of when you hear LA? The beaches, the sun, the surf! We all need a little relaxation time, this event is all about taking in the sun, relaxing on the beach, doing some shopping and cooling off in the water. We’ve set up a full beach day full of excitement complete with beach games, surfing lessons, great food and above all great company. Get ready for Santa Monica beach and some great shopping if you would shop all day than relax on the beach!
Overnight in Vegas
Viva Las Vegas! What is a trip out to the west coast without making a quick stop in world famous Las Vegas! After a quick bus ride, you will check into your hotel centrally located on the strip, and have access to a variety of restaurants, theaters, casinos and much more. Vegas has so much to offer, so the question is, how much can you fit into 24 hours? On Sunday, the group will meet for lunch before hopping back on the buses to return to Hollywood. Who will be the big winner in our group this summer?!
Unsponsored Events
To help you build your friendships and get more comfortable with the city, the staff will continuously be planning unsponsored activities for the entire group to take advantage of. These activities are optional, but they will make sure to get you acquainted with your new city, as well as keep your social calendar full.
Going Away Dinner
To celebrate the successes of the summer and reminisce about the memories you made, the group will dress to impress and spend an evening as VIP's in Hollywood. The night will start with a nice dinner before spending one final night enjoying stories, dancing, and saying your goodbyes. This truly will be a night to remember!
